Throw Back Your Tears

Will you travel down the road of loneliness,
or will you run down the path of love?
Will you walk beside me in your journey,
or walk on, and away with a shove?

Do not disappear inside of your loneliness,
for your loneliness can only bring pain;
and, without having known some kind of love,
you wouldn’t know it is possible again.

The tears that you shed, somehow they comfort you,
and you feel hope in the familiarity they send;
to walk away would mean that it stood for nothing,
and you may have been better off without love in the end.

Yet, you know the untruth that lies within those words,
and that love is worth even the sadness now;
one day you will reunite with that joyous harmony,
even though today you can’t even imagine how.

For in a loving world you can only find happiness,
and in a moment of love, calm is what you feel;
safe within the arms of peaceful bliss,
so like fantasy, or a daydream, and yet so real.

Awaken from your slumber and throwback your tears,
for their time of dispersing has finally gone;
this is now the moment for your happiness,
a new day, a new love, a new hope, a new song.
