What Is Broken Can Be Mended

What is broken can be mended,
this is what I’m told;
doesn’t matter who you are,
or if you’re young or old.

All you need is repentance in your heart,
and love will do the rest;
when you come clean with honesty,
the truth will be the best.

An apology goes a long way too,
as long as it’s sincere;
‘I’m sorry that I hurt you’,
can often bring a tear.

Nothing is broken forever,
all things mended they can be;
people can change for the good,
you have to look in order to see.

So if another you have wronged,
and your hurtful ways have ended;
don’t give up and remember this,
what is broken can be mended.
