Lay Your Burdens Down

Faith will lead you home

God, I don’t know if I can cope or whom I can turn to. This life is too much for me right now.

My child, lean on me. I am your rock, steady and steadfast. Come and rest in me when you are weary and confused. Spend time in prayer with me and lay your burdens down.

Trust me enough to carry your burdens for you. I give you nothing more than you can handle, but I know you also grow tired at times. When this happens, let me carry the load. Drop your troubles and fears at my feet.

There will always be things that are harder to do than others and people who challenge you. Sometimes, child, this is so you can stretch and grow. At other times, it may be the enemy trying to beat you down.

Know that I am with you always, and not only will I help you carry your burdens, but I will also carry you when you are too weary to carry on. I will also send my angels to help and watch over you. You are my child, and I love you.

Spend time with me and let your sorrow and troubles seep away. Bathe in the light of my love and know peace. Hold my hand and walk with me. Do these things, and you will find the comfort and strength to endure anything.

Times are troubling for many of my children, my child, not just you. Lean on each other and help one another. There is strength to be found when assisting another person without the want of anything in return.

When you are ready, you can pick up what you need to carry on. Please know this, the load will be lighter and your burden lessened. If you let me, I will take away what I know you cannot handle.

I am stronger than you give me credit for and capable of so much more than you can ever imagine. Let me carry your load. Trust in me, my child, and lay your burdens down.
