Just Talk to Me

God, I don’t know how to pray.

Just talk to me, my child. I know your heart, and I will hear you. It doesn’t take much effort or time to pray. My apostles have left examples in their works for all.

When you need something or feel alone, you can talk to me. I will always answer you, but you must listen with your spirit. I have left messages in many ways for you throughout your life in response to your questions.

Praying is more than just asking for help. It is a dialogue with me. Tell me how you are doing and what you are thinking. Share your life with me through prayer.

Give thanks for all you have with a grateful heart. You may think you don’t have much, and while it’s true you may have less than some, you have more than others. You have everything you need within you to have a happy life.

Talk to me as you would a trusted friend. Confide in me, share your hopes and fears. Yes, I know these, but in sharing your fears, you release some of the burdens and stress that come with them, and you make it possible for me to assist you.

Please make an effort to talk to me each day. It doesn’t matter what time for I am always here, listening to you. If you are still struggling, learn the rosary and pray that every day.

However you pray, be sincere. Do not try to hide the truth from me because I already know it. Do not say sorry for something if you are not sorry nor willing to change.

Our time together is precious, and I cherish it. I love when you talk to me. Do not forget all that has been given to you. Remember the sacrifice-the gift and open your heart in thanksgiving when you pray.

Spend time each day, my child, in prayer…in conversation with me. There is no wrong way or right away; all you have to do is just talk to me.
