I Am With You Still

Lord, I can’t see, hear or feel you. Where are you, have you left me?

Child, I am with you still, with you always. I will never leave your side even if you turn from me. The Easter message is one for you so that you will remember that death is not the end. It is the beginning.

I will love you always, and that love will not falter. Nothing is so horrible that you do that cannot be forgiven if you seek me and ask it with a pure heart. This does not mean you have free rein to sin and spread evil among the living, and it means that when you make a mistake, there is a way out.

I came to show you the way, not just in life but also in death. I opened the door to Heaven for you so that you may have eternal life. The tomb could not contain me, nor could it hold me, no matter how hard they tried. Understand that I am of the Father, and my purpose was clear. I broke the veil of death and revealed the path to Heaven.

I have shown you how to live and how to love. My path was meant to be a guide as well as a cleansing. I took your sin upon me and bore it on the cross. It has been done, given freely for my love of you.

If you do not hear me or feel me near, it is only because you have barred the door to your Spirit. Sit in silence and pray. Pray from the soul and with purpose, and you will hear me. Open yourself to me, claim me as your own, your redeemer.

Prayer is not a one-time thing, child, nor is it only when you want something. Talk to me every day. Make time for me in your busy schedule. I am here, always waiting and listening, wanting only the best for you.

Do not be afraid, for I have travelled the path ahead of you. No child, I did not leave you, nor will I ever abandon you. I am with you still.
