You Must Love Yourself First

Why can’t I find love, God?

I love you, my child, and I will always love you. Before someone can love you fully, you must love yourself first.

You are loveable because you come from me; I created you as an expression of my love. You are unique and beautiful. Remind yourself of this every day when you wake and every night before you lay down to sleep.

You must be the one to love yourself fully and honestly; love not in a bragging boastful way but in an open and honest living way. Take care of yourself and embrace who you were meant to be. Live life with love always in your heart for yourself, for others.

When you live with love in your heart, you love freely without the want of return. That is the key. You must stop searching for love and just love instead. Love will find you, my child.

Do not put barriers around your heart. It makes it hard for others to enter and break them down. When you do this, you are testing to see if others will love you. Love is not a test.

Love must come freely and without condition. You can’t love someone only once they prove they love you. Love them because they are also mine and of me; love yourself the same way.

I created love to be a magnet for itself. Those who give love freely draw love and joy into their lives. They glow, and their light shines bright, making a path for all to see.

Do not confuse sex for love. It may make you feel good, but it is not loving. It was meant as an act of procreation, not fornication. Physical-chemical reactions are enhanced by love and beautiful when expressed between two who truly are meant to love and live with each other forever.

Do not think you are unworthy of love. I love you and always will. You manifest your thoughts because when you think of them enough times, you embed them in your subconscious.

Look inside and see what I see, my child, what I know. You are beautiful and loveable. Keep looking until you see it and feel it fully. Truly I tell you this, love yourself fully, love yourself as I love you and embrace the spirit within.

I love you, my child. Never forget that to shine for the world fully, you must love yourself first.
