You know you’ve given it all, when at the end of the day you are tired. Those are the times when being tired is a good thing.
It is easy to sit and do nothing these days but when you do, often your mind and body both stagnate. Your spirit and light also dim when you don’t replenish it. This is exactly when you need to get everything moving; body, mind and soul all need to be nurtured every day.
The easiest by far is to exercise your body. There is a ton of videos with different ways to work out to fit your skill and physical capabilities. It is good to get out and walk if you can. The fresh air and activity is fantastic for your mindset. Biking, if you can, is another great form. Whatever you do, ensure you do with joy and be grateful for the blessing. What blessing you may ask? It is a blessing because there are those who cannot get out and get active. They must find different ways to keep mobile. Exercising the body gives one a physical tiredness that at the end of the day allows you to fall quickly into sleep.
You must also stretch your mind and keep it active. Learning something new keeps the mind engaged. Whether it is a new hobby like painting, drawing, writing or you are learning a new language or other skill set, you will find also that at the end of the day you will be tired. When you have used your brain throughout the day, learning new things and expanding your knowledge, you will also find sleep comes quickly as the mind is tired and wants to rest. It also helps keep you from getting bored or into a routine that is not healthy for, physically or mentally,
Like our minds and bodies, our Spirit also needs nurturing. You can do this through prayer, meditation, gratitude, and also by living aligned with your authentic self. When you help someone, live life with compassion and love, your Spirit strengthens. It is in harmony with God and the universe. You feel better, you are happier and you will find your light shines brighter. If you ignore your Spirit, you will find you get depressed, sad and lose motivation not wanting to do anything.
So, when throughout your day you have fully taken care of your mind, body and Spirit, you will find at the end of it you are tired. That my friend is when being tired is a good thing.
