You Matter

In My Solitude

Each and every one of you matter. Do not think you don’t, because you do.

You are important to someone, even if you can’t see it in the moment. You might not even know the positive effect you had on someone but at some point you made a difference.

The smallest gesture, the simplest of words or gestures can impact another person. Think of people who impacted you. Did they do it with that end in mind, or were they just going about their day trying to live a good life?

We all have an opportunity every day to let people know how much they matter to us. No one should ever feel that they are alone and their life is unimportant. It could be as easy as smiling at a person who looks sad or alone. In smiling at them you are telling them ‘I see you’.

It could be that your time has not yet come but it will, at some point you will make a difference … why? Because you matter.
