We All Make Ripples

Every action we choose sends ripples out into our universe. We don’t always see them, but they are there. Some are small ripples and some are larger.

Like a drop of water into a still lake, we can send ripples of love out wherever we go. Just by smiling at someone who might be having a hard time, spending time with someone who is lonely, lending a helping hand, we send ripples. Often, we don’t even realize a ripple was made.

Ripples are contagious, we pass them from one person to the next making the ripple grow in size and strength. Knowing this we should be conscious of the type of ripple we are sending. It should be positive, full of love, kindness and compassion.

Negative ripples have a negative impact on all those they touch. They make people uneasy, fearful, sad and sometimes angry. This is why we should always take care as to the type of ripple we are sending.

It doesn’t matter who you are, when you act, or don’t in some cases, you leave a ripple.

You and I have a choice, let’s make our actions ones we can be proud of, after all we all make ripples.
