Sometimes the answer is time. Sometimes it is space. Always it is love.
When someone is having a difficult time, the best thing you can do is love them. By being there, offering to help when needed, or lending an ear you are showing that person you love them.
Showing love is usually easy with family and close friends but what about everyone else you meet through the day? A smile, opening a door, letting someone go in front of you, or stopping to talk to a neighbour who lives by themselves are all little acts of kindness; small doses of love which go a long way. You never know if they pay it forward but you can rest easy knowing your little actions of love perhaps brightened someones day.
Being kind and acting with compassion, acting with love, costs us nothing. We gain much more than the receiver. We gain peace within our spirit, our light shines brighter and our steps are a little lighter.
Across all religions there may be differences but the one common message is love. Love one another. If every person in the world did this there would be no more wars, no monopolies of power hungry people. Why? Because everyone would want nothing but the best for each other and would work to make that happen by living a life with actions based in love.
No matter what is happening in your day, find a way to show a little love, because in the end love is always the answer.
