In A Heartbeat

In a heartbeat
you’re gone
no chance for goodbye

In a heartbeat
I break
forever I’ll cry

Sorrow swells full
without ceasing
drowning me once again

Life goes on
until death
so I wait til then

There’ll be a time
of reunion
where we all shall meet

Many lives altered
changed forever
all in a heartbeat
