Come back to me love
where the cool winds blow
and moonlight beams
shine on the sands below
Dance the dance
and sing the songs
say a prayer
to right the wrongs
Come back to me
I’m still right here
standing, steadfast
year after year
Laze in the shade
on the grassy plains
splash in the puddles
of the summer rain
Come back to me
I’m not far gone
look within my love
at the break of dawn
I’ve never left
I never will; it’s true
reminisce, remember me
for I am you
Come back to me
return to those days
where buffalos roam
and deers still graze
Leave the worries
on the shelf
bench the stress
and play yourself
Come back to me
my childhood friend
loose your imagination
untie the end
Dream the dreams
we dreamt long ago
come back, my dear
I love you so
