Whisper in the Wind

Whisper ‘I love you’ in the wind,
I’ll hear you;
your words carried,
softly to my ears.

Yell into the storm,
I’ll release it;
the storm raging, your words,
built up for years.

Cry into the rain,
I’ll see you,
tears falling gently,
so gently, upon the earth.

Love me in the sunshine,
never letting go;
a warm embrace to hold me,
a feeling full of mirth.

So please, please,
hear my plea;
my silent prayer,
and whisper in the wind.
