Prepare Your House

God, what do I need to do next?

My child, the time is coming, prepare your house. I talk not of brick and mortar but of blood and flesh, soul and spirit.

You are a vessel that carries something precious, a soul fed by the spirit. You must take care of this vessel and tend to it daily. When you do not, it will wither and fade, and your light diminish.

Keep your light strong through prayer and acts of love. Every day, sit in solitude with me and cleanse your soul. Find ways to help others and show them kindness. Help their light shine brighter by shining yours in their direction.

Sate your spirit as you would a garden. Keep it fed and nourished. Just as you clean your house, so must you clean your vessel, for the fire of my breath is within you, and where you go, I shall go.

So many of my children look for me and don’t realize that I am found within, within yourself and others that cross your path. Sit in quiet contemplation, and you will come to know this for truth. For my spirit resides within you.

Treat yourself as you would a guest in your own home. Be loving, kind and happy within your soul. Connect with the spirit continually, and you will know joy and peace.

The time is coming, and the signs are given so that you may know and remember. Remember the gift of my Son, whose blood was shed and skin was pierced. Prepare a place in your heart for Him and take comfort in knowing that He opened a path between you and I. Prepare for His return; for He will come again, and then all will be reunited in the Heavens.

Walk through your journey with open eyes and awareness. Look for places that need to be repaired and renewed. When the time comes, your house will be laid bare, and all will be seen. Leave no trail of dirt and grime within your soul.

Cleanse your body and spirit daily. Pray often with gratitude and thanks. Refuel the light of your soul through invitation, asking the spirit to come and grow in you every day.

Be aware and understand your shortcomings and try each day to do better. It is in the attempt that I see the truth; in the sincere asking for forgiveness that you are forgiven.

If you step into the shadows, find the path back to the light; for one who tries to do better is welcomed over one who chooses to walk in the shadows permanently with their back to me.

The responsibility is yours. You will inevitably return to me, and at that time, your doors will be thrown open. Understand this and prepare your house.
