When all has withered and died,
here I will stand;
alone, in the barrenness of my mind,
alone, in an unknown land.
When all have left and moved away,
here I will reside;
alone, with only my random thoughts,
not alone, God remains at my side.
When my time has finally come,
here I will lie in wait;
alone, waiting for my glorious angel,
to carry me to the gate.
When I stand before Him,
here, I will no longer be;
alone, all my sins bared before Him,
will He open the gates for me?
When all on earth has come to pass,
here I will stand;
united with all my loved ones,
forevermore, hand in hand.
Until that time comes,
here I am then;
loving you for eternity,
until we meet again.
