Everyone has their own struggles, some are evident and visible, some are not so easy to see.
The hardest thing to do sometimes is to admit we have a problem, or are challenged in some way. This is because it is admitting that we have a weakness of some kind. The truth however, is that when we admit we have challenges and need help once in a while, it doesn’t make us weaker, it makes us stronger.
The second hardest thing is accepting help. Accepting help means we are opening ourselves up, which many consider to be a weakness. I tell you this, it is a strength. A broken bone needs a splint of some kind and time to heal, so too do the invisible hurts and unspoken problems.
If you are suffering, please know you do not have to suffer in silence. There are people who you can talk to, groups you can join. You’d be surprise how many people out there have the same problems and challenges as you. You won’t know this though until you talk about it.
You may think you are alone … you are not. The reality is that we all have challenges.
