The twilight hour
arrives in whispers,
on dark shadows
cast by moonlit beams.
Lurkers emerge from shadows,
to prowl and spawn,
seeking to ruin
the souls of men.
Fasten your spirit,
then loose the reins,
shining forth and beyond,
a beacon to all.
Fear not the evil,
nor the darkness
black and morbid;
shine, shine, shine.
For moonlit beams
cast shadow,
but angels fly down
to ride on her rays.
With rod and staff
you are armed;
unbreakable armour,
unbreakable bond.
I ride with thee,
never shall you fear
nor alone shall you be;
a star among many.
Don thy armour,
surrounded in light,
an invisible shield;
barrier within the twixt.
Night comes,
secure thy steed
and ride, ride, ride;
light the way.
The wind whispers,
listen close
for dawn comes,
a new day breaks.
Darkness will recede,
rest my beloved
for the battle awaits,
always wanting more.
Even in defeat
you lose not;
yours is the victory,
soar you shall.
Hold hope secure,
with love unleashed,
and rise again
to shine once more.
