Of all the things you can do, the quality of your thinking has the most significant consequences.
The quality of your thinking determines the quality of your choices and decisions. Your choices and decisions determine the actions you take, and the actions you take determine the quality and quantity of your results.
In life and work, results are everything. In the final analysis, your success will be assessed based on the results you accomplish for yourself and your impact on others. The quality of your results will largely depend on the quality of the thinking that preceded the actions taken.
So, what does it all mean? Simply put, when you fill your thoughts with garbage and belligerence, the output is consistent with the input. In other words, poor thinking equals poor or undesired results.
Holding harmful, abusive or disruptive thoughts will rarely if ever, lead to a positive result. When you act on those negative thoughts, you set yourself up for failure.
Failure in relationships, jobs and having poor self-esteem are all byproducts of adverse actions brought about by negative thinking. When you flip the switch and change your thoughts, replacing negative messages with positive ones, you change the quality of your thinking.
Input equals output unless there is a disrupter. Something that makes the change occur. Our thought process can take negative information and find the positive to change the output. This is because the underlying factor in everything is choice. We all get to choose what we do and what actions we take. Choice, therefore, is or at least can be, the disrupter to negative input.
At the end of the day, only you can control your choices. You can decide to flip the negative to positive. This means you, and only you, are in control of the quality of your thinking.

A.A. calls this stinking thinking. You also have to take out the garbage. All the stinking hurts and pains that you are attached to. That is why forgiveness is so important. It sets you free and releases the other. 🤍
Yes, I’ve done several posts on forgiveness, but it could be a whole book.
