Mourn Not For Me

Mourn not for me
for I am home
free from pain
free from all my sorrow

I now walk free
full of joy
full of love
remember me come tomorrow

Hold my love
in your heart
and you will carry me
along with you

Weep not too long
nor sadness carry
for I am okay
it is true

I was greeted
by those, I’ve loved
and I will be waiting here
for you at your end

Remember the laughter
and quiet times spent
and know you were loved
and forever my friend

  1. If this is a tribute poem for Wally, thank you. If not, thank you. Beautifully said as those who leave us continue to walk a path into light that is waiting for those who choose this path also.
