Life is a continual learning process. Never stop asking questions.
We don’t stop learning just because we’ve finished our education. With every stage in life, we continue to grow. Growth cannot come without learning.
Depending on your career path, you will need to learn new things as you move up the ranks. Each job requires some type of training. Even if you are not looking to be promoted, technology changes, and you must learn new ways of doing the same job.
If you want to learn a new hobby, you must ask questions like how something can be done, when classes are, or can anyone I know provide guidance?
Questioning is not just about learning. It also is our way of checking in on others. We show compassion, caring and even love when we question how others are doing or if we can help in any way.
Simple questions like how was your day, or where do you want to g, or (fill in the blank), shows another that we care about them. We take their feelings, thoughts and needs into consideration.
If you stop asking about others and become only focused on yourself, you will find that people will shy away from you. It is in our caring for others that we are drawn together.
Another way of caring is by asking how we can help others. What is it we can do that would make their life better or more joyful? Perhaps the question is, where can I volunteer?
Once you ask the question, you can begin reaching for the answer. If you are unsure, you can ask a trusted friend, and they can provide guidance. You can also ask others who are doing what you want to attempt how they did it.
Questions help us fulfill our own joy as well. We must look inward and investigate what is making us feel sad or unfulfilled. If life is getting you down, or you feel stuck, ask yourself a few questions. What can you do about it? Is there something else you can do that would be more fulfilling? Can you get help from someone else?
The list of questions is endless, and there are questions for almost any situation. This means you can always ask what is next for you. As each phase passes in your life, you need to learn more, and in order to get to the answer you must first ask how.
Don’t be afraid of growth and learning. Look to every new day with excitement and anticipation and never stop asking questions.
