Become A Servant

God, How may I better serve you?

To serve my child, one must become a servant. Acting out of love and not want. There are many ways you may help, but the best is through acts of love and kindness.

So many of my children are looking to get, to receive, rather than to give. You have been given the greatest gift of all time, but it goes unnoticed many days—the gift of forgiveness.

It is not a gift to be remembered once a year. The gift should be cherished every day. Remember and know it for the gift and example that it is. Take that gift into the world. Forgive as you are forgiven, without hesitation, even when it is hard.

Every day is filled with actions that you believe must be done and yet, what is needed goes left unnoticed by many. Some understand and see, and they serve. They serve me by serving others.

Use your talents, traits born, and grown, within you, in the service of others. Make their life easier or happier by giving and being kind—sharing of your time, your talents and your gifts.

In this way, you can serve me. Those who watch over and help my children are cherished by me. When you help someone who is lost find their way home, back to me, you are serving.

Be an example of my love and light in living form. In this way, you also serve. Others see me through your actions and words—deeds of goodness and words of praise done in service without expectation of any kind.

There are many ways to serve my child. Many are in need, and many are lacking the love they not only require but are owed. Reach out to them, the lost and forsaken. Sometimes, when one person cares enough, it makes a shift and causes a ripple—a ripple of goodness that flows from one to many.

Be my church, my disciple, and show the world what it means to be loved by God. Show them, and tell them of my works. Shed hope and light wherever you walk.

Help the poor, heal the sick, bring joy to the sorrowful. Feed my children, and in doing so, you will not need to ask how you can serve me better.

There is always work to be done, my child. If you look with an open heart and loving eyes, you will see. When you do this and live in the light, you will know how to serve me. You will not only understand, but you will also then become a servant.
