Lift Others Up As You Rise

Be a beacon, a teacher, a mentor and lift others up as you rise.

Realizing your dreams is great. We work hard and put the effort in, making mistakes along the way, but eventually, we reach our goals. How much easier would it have been if we had known what we did in the end?

Hopefully, you had others to help you along your journey, a guide to show you the way. Pointing out any pitfalls or tripping points along your journey. Even if you didn’t, you made it to where you are now. You overcame unforeseen hurdles and are stronger and wiser because of it.

Now that you are there, new goals will arise, and you will continue on, but there are others following you, trying to do what you have done. Don’t hold on to your secrets. Share them and help them realize their dreams too.

No outcome is exactly alike. If it were, we would not have different styles of clothing, cars, etc. All these people do the same thing, just differently.

Be a beacon to others and shine the light for them so they can see the pitfalls. Offer them advice. If they want it, great. If they don’t, you at least offered.

Just like we ask others their opinions and guidance, we should be willing to give. You’ll be surprised at what you remember as you tell them of your journey.

Don’t sit and watch another struggle if you can help them do it. It doesn’t matter who or where they are in their journey. Everyone can use a helping hand.

It is just as important to give back as it is to reach our goals. Sometimes it is not even about being a mentor; sometimes, it is about helping someone in need.

Many people are struggling who could use assistance, and many lost and alone who often just need someone to talk to. The basic necessities which come by easily and readily for you are difficult for them.

Whatever you can do, please do it. Don’t gain success and think only of yourself. You were meant to shine and to lift others up as you rise.
