I Believe in Many Things

I believe in many things,
if you know me, you know that’s true;
I believe in hugs and cuddles,
and that dreams are meant to come true.

I believe in angels,
sent from up above;
specials ones for each of us,
to oversee, protect and love.

I believe in wedding bells,
though married I am not;
in true romance and specials dates,
add soul mates to the pot.

I believe in happily ever after,
and that we are all equal on this earth;
I believe that fairytales,
add wonder and also they add mirth.

I believe in front porch chats,
I believe in a backyard swing;
I believe in true soul friends,
and that hurtful words do sting.

I believe in you and God,
and family ties that bind;
that nothing bad should ever come,
to someone who is kind.

I believe in doing what is right,
and in everything goodness brings;
the list goes on forever, because,
yes, I believe in many things.
