It’s In the Falling

Let Your Light Shine

It is in the falling that we rise again, greater than our former selves.

Falling and failing is hard, but it is when we are at our lowest that we can begin to rise anew. We rise, more open to the possibilities of what we can become. We rise, more aware than we were before.

When we surrender ourselves to love, to God, we actually complete the cycle. We leave our former, self centric, egoistical selves behind and we step into our loving, compassionate forms. We live life with love as our base.

Living a life based on love is peaceful. There are still hurtful people, words, and actions out there but we are shielded; the armour of God becomes our shield. There is a continual inner peace, that even when we are hurting, is ever present.

Things that makes others happy, are just that, ‘things’. It doesn’t mean we can’t find joy in nice things, it just means that we don’t look to things to bring us happiness. True happiness is found within.

When we fall, we have two choices, stay down, or get up. Eventually, we must rise as no one can stay down forever. We dig deep and find the strength to rise and face another day.

Sometimes it takes many tries before we get it right. We rise and fall over and over until we finally rise one last time. When that time comes, we rise fully and with nothing but love. It doesn’t mean we don’t continue to learn, it just means that we have finally shed the unnecessary pieces of ourselves.

No, it isn’t in the rising where we find ourselves, it is in the falling.
