I Am Restored

I am restored,
restored back to myself;
my thoughts and my memories,
no longer hiding on the shelf.

There is only love and joy here,
I have no worries, have no fears;
I am at home now with my Saviour,
but I see you shed those tears.

I have built in you a foundation,
and tended to your needs;
you my darling children,
are my tiny mustard seeds.

I planted your roots deeply,
grounded them in faith and love;
so I know you will believe me,
when I say I watch from above.

Our time on earth is over,
but our time together never done;
for you hold me in your hearts,
and so we are forever one.

I will see you again at some point,
not too very soon I hope;
you have wonderous things ahead,
and all the tools with which to cope.

Never forget my children,
how special you are to me;
I say once more I love you,
and with you I’ll always be.

The bond we have is special,
our love is the real deal;
but for now my darling children,
it’s your turn to take the wheel.
