I sit and stare
and stare
and stare
I sit here just staring
at the empty chair
A chair
once filled with love
with joy
and family things
a chair
filled with laughter
and everyday ordinary things
Those days are gone
there is no one there
and so I sit and stare
and stare
where love once sat
is now
just an empty chair
and so I sit
I just sit and stare.
