I dreamt I won a million things,
and then a million more;
but if you are not here with me,
then what could they be for?
For without you here in my life,
there’s nothing I could use;
and to have you here beside me,
that would be what I choose.
I’d gladly lose a million things,
I’d give it all away;
For nothing can compare to you,
not moon, nor stars, nor day.
For when you’re standing here with me,
a million things I feel;
The stars they dance upon my heart,
a dance of love surreal.
And when you hold me close, my dear,
that is when my heart sings.
To hold you in my arms again,
I’d give a million things.
