The blades of time flow;
keeping time with the wind,
they sway and dance,
reaching upward to the light.
I change with the ages,
morphing and growing;
releasing ancient pains,
opening arms and heart wide.
Scars faded over time
allow forgiveness to enter;
washing painful memories clean,
healing old wounds.
All the while
the blades of time flow,
and I dance with the wind,
rejoicing in the light.
For I am but a child,
ever-growing;
with glee, I rejoice
at each new wonder.
Come, dance with me
and the blades of time,
as we sway to the rhythm
and bask in the light.
Come, grow with me
in light and love;
an eternal gathering,
giving thanks and praise.
Come, be with me,
rest in peaceful harmony;
watching the blades of time
as we pass from here to there.
The world will quiet,
the light still shine;
and we will sit in wonder,
watching it all occur.
