Be a Light to Others

Shine your light outward my children, shine it for all to see. Be a light to others, a beacon in their storm. You are the measuring stick, not the measurer. You need to shine your light and walk in faith so that others may see and be able to follow. You can lead them out of darkness, out of loneliness, out of pain just by sharing your light with them.

I did not entrust you with the light of the Spirit that it stay housed in your shell, but rather for you to shine that light outward; out into the world where others are dwelling in the shadows and the darkness. Light dispels the dark, casts the shadows away, that is the job I have entrusted to you. That, is the job you were made for. You were made to shine, so shine, shine brightly, shine always!

Your light will not diminish when you use it, rather I will continue to replenish it. Your light will shine brighter and all will know that you are a beacon, a disciple of faith and of love, of kindness and of hope. Shine my children, shine. Walk away from the shadows and stand in the light, share the light, embrace the light.

Shed the skin of pain and sorrow, loneliness and hurt and embrace the warmth that the light has to offer, the love that is within the light. I am here, I am the light, you are of me, you are the light. Be the light for others and shine, shine, shine! Shine bright my children, shine bright. In every day, in everything you do, shine!
