Have Enough Faith To Leap

I used to keep a book beside my bed, and write during the night. Now I usually voice record or capture the words on my iPad. I came across a book with notes, poems, and conversations between the Spirit and I. When I read them, I smile. I am sharing this one with you today. It was a conversation with Spirit that I captured on April 18th, 2001. The day was noted, not the year, but most works in the book prior to it are dated 2001, so I’ve taken the leap and made an assumption. It could be anywhere between 2001 and 2004, but I’m not sure it matters. After reading it, I titled it, Have Enough Faith to Leap. Perhaps you can find a bit of yourself among the words. Note that I must have thought, prayed, or said something to God to trigger this response. That piece wasn’t written on the page. This was the response that followed:

You think it is so easy to watch you struggle? Day after day you feel the pull, and yet you still resist. What are you afraid of? Has he not promised all to those who act in love? Do you not have enough faith to leap?

You cannot hide behind the gentleness of a child. He will love you no matter what you decide. You can see it. You can imagine it, and yet, you are still afraid. I believe it is because you still feel unworthy, and yet, how can this be possible?

The mind knows the truth, and yet the heart aches from the past. Time will never be enough to heal your wounds until you are willing to open up yourself to the possibility of love again. You know this, and yet you remain afraid. Afraid to tell even one person that you are terrified of what being hurt would do to you.

You are a strong girl. Stronger than you know, or give yourself credit for. You deserve quiet greatness. Not the greatness that comes from fame, but that of love and peace, and following your dream.

You will do what you are destined to, my child, so take your time. We are patient and here when you need us. Listen with your heart, and you will hear. Look with your eyes of love and faith and you will see.

Love with no hesitation, and you will feel. It is a time of great understanding, and your break free is almost here.

A lot has changed since that writing in 2001, and faith has carried me through it all. When I retired, that is when I began to follow my dream and begin writing. During that time, God called and asked me to write an inspiration / motivational book, and add bible verses to it. I took the leap, trusting that He would put the words into the hands that needed them. That leap led to the Letters and the Conversations and the books capturing the collections of the same.

In taking the leap, my faith has only grown and strengthened. The trials haven’t disappeared, but there is a gentle peace that flows around the pain; an undercurrent that only faith provides. There is nothing I cannot get through for He walks along with me as I journey. Faith has indeed freed me.

So why did I share such a personal piece of information? The answer is simple. Spirit told me to. Perhaps someone else out there needs to hear the same words. No matter who reads this, or how it applies to your life, my prayer for you is this. May you have enough faith to leap when God calls, and may you feel the presence of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit all the days of your life. I promise it is worth it beyond measure. Blessings, my brothers and sisters.
