God, why is there so much hatred in this world? Why can’t people see that we are all the same?
My child, where fear exists, there grows room for the enemy. The enemy thrives on fear and, in their fear, sows seeds of anger. Anger that is prolonged turns into hatred.
The good news, child, is that there are more of my children who walk in the light than those who walk in the dark. They show the world what it means to love.
You are a child of the light, a child of love. You have the power to shine forth my light to all you meet and to love everyone who crosses your path; even the lowliest in your eyes deserves to be loved.
There is always hope for those who hold hatred in their hearts. Hope for those who have stepped out of the light and into the darkness. My light can dispel the darkness; in the end, it is love that will vanquish hatred.
Remember, child, that behind hatred is fear. It is a fear of not being loved, fear of something they don’t understand, fear of something different from them.
Fear is grown in two ways. The first is from not being loved wholly. For whatever reason, those who walk away do so out of fear. They are so afraid of what the joy of love can bring, or believe they are not worthy enough of that love, that they chose to live in fear.
They begin to isolate themselves and turn angry at a world that does not love them for who they are, when in fact, it was they who walked away. Their anger steeps and slowly turns to hatred, a hatred for everything they don’t have that they desperately want.
The second is that they have been denied the light and have lived a life in the shadows of ignorance. They were taught to live with flawed beliefs, so they do not know any better. This is the worse kind of fear because the darkness of the past is growing in the families across generations.
No child of mine who walks in the light can ever hate. My children are born of love, which is the opposite of hate. They stand for peace and unity, and they reject the darkness. They have compassion and understanding and are accepting of all.
It is you child and all my other children of the light who will turn the tide. Live your life with love. See everyone through my eyes, and you will find the opening. Look for it; it is there, a small crack that shows where the person is hurting the most.
When you see it, you will know what to do and how to help them walk back into the light. Show them my love, my light. Reach out your hand to them and bring them back to me. It is only light that can dispel the dark, and it is love that will vanquish hatred.
