The Truth Never Changes

The truth never changes. Many things change, the truth isn’t one of them.

People change all the time. It is part of our growth experience. In fact, you can depend on people changing. You change their mind, your looks, and your hairstyles continually. I’m not saying all people do this, but many do.

Times change, year after year, decade after decade, century after century. We call it progress and evolution. Events, even unexpected ones, bring about change. Some shifting the way we view the world, the way we live our lives and how we form our opinions.

The reality is few things do not change. Love grows, so it is also changing, deepening, until it is pure and full. Once established it does not change, or even fade. People say they fall out of love, but true love is always there. You can walk away from it, but just because you do, doesn’t mean the love is not still there.

God, well, God does not change. Some say God is truth and if so, truth does not change. It remains always the truth, just as God always remains God.

You can try to sugarcoat the truth but it won’t change the facts. The facts remain ever true and do not waver. There may be additional facts to be presented but the truth will not change with them.

This is why when people try to hide the truth, lie or evade it, the truth is always revealed. It is too hard to maintain a lie. Lies will only eat you up from the inside out. When you lie, you know inside what the truth is. It won’t change even if you get away with your lie. You will always have to maintain and remember the lie, which is not easy.

Yes, many things in life change, but the truth never changes.
