Good Things Come

Good things come to those who wait. Well, most of us have been waiting.

In our time of isolation, rather than being grumpy about having to be confined, be joyful knowing what lays ahead. For many, we can now go outside and sit in our yards, on our balconies, take a walk and enjoy the birds singing, feel the warmth of the sunshine, and see spring do it’s thing as trees and flowers begin to blossom.

We are waiting this out and yes, we miss our friends and our family for sure, but think on how much more we appreciate them now. We will hug a little long and hold a little tighter.

Anything worth having is worth waiting for. A true love will wait years for their mate if that is what is required. Just look at a dog who knows you have a treat in your hand or a toy, they can wait a very long time because they know what they are getting. Yes they may eventually walk away but they don’t forget and keep looking back to see if you are ready. We must have that patience now and wait and do what is right.

When we work hard and do the right thing, in the end we are rewarded. The working hard for some these days is just to stay isolated, without work, and for many without companionship. We will be reunited again, be strong and be brave.

Heaven; we wait a lifetime to return home. We do what’s right, live a good life, one with love, kindness and compassion so that we can reap the ultimate reward, the one that really matters. Many will return ahead of us and our souls will wait, knowing that we will meet again when it is finally our time to journey home. Until then we wait.

Don’t give up, don’t get discouraged or lose hope, good things come.
