Magnify Your Heart

I heard these words and they made me think about the ‘how’ of it. How can you magnify your heart?

I believe that first, you must start by sharing your love with the world. You have so much love to give so don’t keep it closed off from the world. As discussed yesterday, it can be a joyous gift for others to receive.

Our love is not just meant for family and friends, it is meant for all. When we are kind, compassionate and caring, we show our heart to the world. When we help those in need, we show our heart to the recipients of our deeds.

Second, we have to be open to receiving love. When we love fully and truly people see and share in our feeling of joy. We can become an example of what being loved looks like.

Don’t close yourself off and let your heart wither away. Like a flower needs water our hearts need love. Focus on the good deeds that are being done and all the wonderful people that are put in front of you on your path as you journey through life.

Do not focus on the bad, mean spirited and depressing acts that are also part of this world. They pull you away from yourself and like a weed fester and choke out your joy. Rather, shine and focus on all the good. Loving can only increase your light.

The light of love is strong and will repel the darkness. Though the enemy may yell and scream trying to break through it cannot exist long in the light of love.

Finally, share your talents with the world. Use them to make the world a better, more enjoyable place. Where would we be without people sharing what they know, teaching and helping us along as we journey?

By giving of ourselves, loving others and being open to receiving love ourselves we strengthen our light and we shine brighter. This is how you magnify your heart.
